Dance In Israel!

KCDC hosts an exciting 5-month dance program known as Dance Journey.

This is your chance to dance side-by-side with the KCDC dancers, and learn from one of the leading dance companies in the world.

The dance program includes ballet classes, contemporary dance classes, pilates classes, KCDC repertoire lessons and workshops one of the elite dance companies in Israel.

The program's faculty is composed of some of the best choreographers and dance teachers in Israel and worldwide.

In addition to advancing your career as a dancer, the program's aim is to introduce you to the Israeli culture. The Dance Journey program offers you Hebrew classes, tours around Israel, volunteering activities among local communities, Israel studies, and more.

The program takes place in the "Galilee Dance Village", where the KCDC dancers and participants of the Dance Journey program study and live together.

The program is open to all dancers from around the world.

Grants Available for Jewish Dancers:

MASA Israel Journey provides grants and scholarships to Jewish Dancers.

AUDITION

Acceptance to the Dance Journey program depends on passing an audition. The Audition must include:

    1. One photo in First Arabesque.
    2. One photo Battement tendu à la seconde a terre en face.
    3.  Three minutes of free dance which represent you best.
          Please record your free dance on DVD and send us
          the recording via YouTube.

The audition will be viewed with certain qualities in mind: Line, placement, physique and quality of movement.
