We recognize that for many young adults, finding the financial means to finance a 5-month or semester-long international dance study abroad program, might seem like a challenging task.
However, we assure you that there are plenty of scholarships and grants available to help you finance and cover the cost of the entire program. It’s simply just a matter of doing the legwork, doing your own research, and filling out applications for such grants and scholarships.
There are hundreds of dance scholarships available for dancers looking to study abroad and we encourage you to seek them out via Google searches.
There have been many past Dance Journey participants who have also raised funds to cover the program fee through crowdfunding fundraising campaigns such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter and GoFundMe. We highly recommend that you consider launching a crowdfunding campaign on one of these websites as they continuously have been proven to help dance students, like yourself, cover the entire tuition fee, along with the flight to Tel Aviv, and even spending money during your time in Israel.
You’d be surprised what type of support and response from your family, friends, and network you’ll get by creating such a campaign while including an original dance video and a video message of you dancing and speaking about your passion to study with us and further develop, and become a professional dancer.
We’ve also provided below a list of reputable grants and scholarships available for dancers. Perhaps not all are relevant to you specifically, but we encourage you to start the process of seeking out scholarships, grants and financial support for your participation in Dance Journey program. Really the earlier you begin this process, the better.
Lastly, we also recommend that you contact your country’s cultural department at their embassy in Israel to make them aware of your desire and intention to participate in our program and request support from them or inquire about other foundations, grants, and organizations they might know of that would be relevant to you.
