Earned a B.A. in Clinical Psychology & Music from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and an MBA at Haifa University’s International Executive MBA program.
Was first introduced to the inexplicably ‘fantastic’ world of contemporary dance by his wife Dorry Aben, a former company dancer and today a naturalistic therapist. Prior to relocating to The Netherlands, spent his life between growing up in a moshav (agricultural village) in central Israel, Brooklyn, as well as number of years at The International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton, Israel; home to Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.
His belief in using the immense power and medium of dance, music, education, and the performing arts as a whole to bring people of all backgrounds together especially in these ever-increasing polarized times, is the driving force behind his work both as a performing artist in his own right as well as a manager of such a celebrated and internationally-renowned dance company.
