Social & Educational Activities

The social and educational activities program includes six days of trips around Israel, four lectures about different aspects of life in Israel, celebrating the holidays, participating in four different community involvement programs, watching Israeli movies and more.

Born and raised on Kibbutz Gesher Haziz, Amos received his B.Ed. from Seminar Hakibbutzim Teacher’s College in Tel Aviv and worked as a Physical Education teacher for eight years at a regional high school in northern Israel. Amos lived in Philadelphia for ten years where he earned his MHS (Master of Human Services) from Lincoln University in Oxford, PA and worked as a director of leisure time activities program for people with special needs. Upon returning to Israel, he continued until today to work in the same field planning and implementing recreational activities for adults with developmental disabilities. Amos is also a certified tour guide who works with local groups and tourists as well.
