A graduate of The Wingate Institute. Served as an Officer in the paratroopers division and began to study dance professionally at the age of 23.
Danced in The Israeli Ballet in 1973 and acted and danced in the movie “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Danced with the Bat Dor Dance Company from 1974-1976 and then with The Batsheva Dance Company from 1976-1989.
Served as the Artistic Director of The Batsheva Dance Company from 1982-1989.
Since 1989, he’s been the Head of the Dance Department at the Thelma Yellin High School for Performing Arts and serves as a judge and a mentor in many dance competitions and on television.
