Keren Zohar

Modern

Teacher, dancer and freelance choreographer.  She teaches the Flying-Low Dance Technique in Israel, which she learned with the method’s founder David Zambrano in Belgium.

Holds a B.A. from Tel Aviv’s Seminar Hakibbutzim College in education with a specialization in dance

Teaches modern dance in various schools including Misgav Dance Studios, Dance Workshop Ga’aton, the Jizrael Valley, among others.

Has been teaching the Flying-Low Dance Technique for the past year as part of the school and dance company of Liat Dror and Nir Ben Gal, in Haifa’s Dancer Training Workshop, Orot Israel College, and various workshops around the country.

Created as part of Artist Communs Residency in Belgium and Italy. Choreographed a duo for the 2019 Acco Festival alongside the dancer-creator Neta Erez as part of “Special Projects”.

Their work was supported by the Ethos Association and the Haifa Municipal Theater.

Manages Flying-Low ISRAEL and produces international workshops in Israel in the method.
