Our Dance Journey study abroad program is like no other in the world. We pride ourselves on creating an experience that will elevate the skills of per-professional dancers & dance students toward professional success. Over a 5-month period, dancers from around the world, who’ve successfully passed an audition, will live at the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton in Northern Israel. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the picturesque Mediterranean Sea, the community fosters total focus on dance in a tranquil environment.

This immersive program will allow our Dance Journey students to live as though they were already a professional, among our company’s finest dancers, teachers and choreographers. The Dance Journey program allows students to study professional dance abroad for a semester in Israel, a hub rich with networking opportunities among the international contemporary dance scene.
Spend a semester studying dance abroad with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company
The study abroad program commences each year in either February or September, and allows students to partake in our professional and academic dance training with the aim of advancing their dance careers. While our dance teachers and dance masters offer a range of classes in Gaga, choreography, improvisation and floor work, to name a few, our key focus is on contemporary, modern and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company repertoire by Artistic Director Rami Be’er. Our students will start most of their mornings with a ballet lesson to prepare for the day ahead. Outside of the richly diverse curriculum, our students have free time to enjoy the International Dance Village facilities such as the lush gardens and swimming pool.
